Hannah writes her songs when the inspiration strikes and the initial idea is usually just sung into her phone.

  The idea -

From here we get together to nut out the song with some chords and a rough arrangement. For this song I had an idea for a chorus melody that Hannah liked. Then we recorded a basic drum beat, guide guitar and guide vocal.

The sketch -

I'll generally ask for a reference track or tracks as a guide to the production.

After I've recorded the instruments Hannah will then lay down the lead vocal takes and together we'll nut out any backing vocals.
